Center-cut Pork Chops

2 Center cut pork chops
Salt and pepper
Diced garlic
1 jar of cranberry apple butter
2 cups of white wine
Olive oil

Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to a pan and turn on medium high heat. Salt and pepper both sides of the center cut pork chops. Add chops to the pan and brown on both sides. Remove the chops from the pan and place in a baking dish. Finish the chops in the oven at 400 degrees.

For the Sauce:

In the same pan you browned the chops. Add diced garic and cook lightly, then add 2 cups of white wine and deglaze the pan (use a wooden spoon to get all the cooked pieces of pork off the pan’s bottom). Add a couple of tablespoons of cranberry apple butter. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Allow the mixture to reduce down a little and then remove from heat.

Place chops on plate and dish out a couple of tablespoons of the sauce onto the chops.
