Lying Lat Flies on Bowflex or Similar Weight-Lifting Machine


1. Lie flat on your back on the bench, head toward the engine.

2. Position yourself far enough down the bench to grasp the hand grips (palms facing downward) at shoulder level with arms straight out.

3. Tighten abs to stabilize your spine.

4. Maintain a slight arch in your lower back.

5. Initiate the movement by pulling your shoulder blades down and together while simultaneously drawing your elbows in an arc, towards the sides of your body.

6. Slowly return to the start position allowing your arms and shoulder blades to move fully upward and repeat.
